Keep a small list
Write down something read, something made and something noticed. A three-line record is enough. The point is to remember the texture of a week, not to turn every quiet afternoon into a productivity exercise.
Make room for what you return to
Put the book where you actually sit. Keep the walking lead by the door. Give a favorite recipe a place where you can find it again. Often the useful change is simply making an enjoyable thing easier to begin.
